Dispensation Changes, and Covenant Progression
Question: What did Jesus mean “to fulfil all righteousness” by being water Baptised in Matthew 3:15? Since the Law is righteous (Psm. 119:142 & Rm. 7:12) was Jesus “fulfilling all righteousness” of the Law as Promised in Matthew 5:17-18?
Jesus said, “The Law and the prophets were unto John” (the Baptist).
With the inauguration of Baptism for sin; in Christ Jesus, by John; the next step was clear; and is the answer to your question.
This is the linking of the Covenants; and is clearer to those who accept the change in “Dispensation” as taught by Paul!
The huge disadvantage of the populations on Earth at present, is that the Churches have neglected this basic teaching for hundreds of years.
